“Dixie” is a smart, athletic off-the-track Thoroughbred (OTTB) with a heart full of potential. Sensitive to a rider’s energy and seat, she responds best to calm, quiet handling and truly shines with consistency. Dixie is an eager-to-please mare who is currently building topline muscle, learning to relax through her body, and developing correct movement.

A quick learner with a strong desire to partner with her person, Dixie is an excellent match for an experienced rider, particularly one interested in dressage or other low-impact disciplines. She thrives in a steady training routine and enjoys working in true partnership with her rider.

Dixie is a moderate keeper and is fed 1.5 scoops of Hallway Feeds Quantify® daily. She requires monthly chiropractic care to stay comfortable under saddle and prefers a bitless English bridle. She currently wears front nail-on shoes.
