Zendetta is in training with Vivian Jones of Sky Fire's Practicle Pony. She will be available for adoption at the ATFO event in August 2025. Follow her progress at #hopteamzendetta
Zen was part of atfo last year in the outlaw division (this means she was considered a not so easy horse). Her first trainer did a great job getting her basics down like fly spray, picking feet, tacking etc.
I took her as a 365 horse and have been working largely on building up her confidence with obstacles and weird scary things as well as trying to increase her saddle time and ridden education.
Zendetta tries hard and is generally willing though she will occasionally get sticky feet when shes unsure (another thing we are working on). Before she was a bit flighty but that seems to have gotten much better overall. She is currently riding walk trot and also trying to build up to some gaiting under saddle. (Yes she is gaited but her trot is pretty and easy to ride also!) We have also been starting to tackle some of those scary obstacles things under saddle as her confidence grows with them on the ground.
This girl is truly lovely and will be making the right person an incredible partner. She is sure footed and I think will make an excellent trail horse with continued work and exposure to things.
She would do great for a strong intermediate rider looking for a horse that can teach them a few things and wanting to grow their skills and advance in their horsemanship knowledge. She measures at 14.1 hands which is perfect height if you have to get on and off on the trails for some reason.
