Adoption Overview $250

Peggy Sue

Peggy Sue is a special girl with a big personality and a heart just as strong as her hooves. She can be shy at first, but once she’s comfortable, her gentle and thoughtful nature shines through. We are currently working with her on catching, grooming, picking up her feet, and standing for the farrier, and she continues to make steady progress with consistent, patient handling.

This sweet mule has a metabolic condition and a history of founder, so she will require a knowledgeable, attentive home committed to careful management. With proper diet control, routine farrier care, and a consistent schedule, Peggy Sue does well and enjoys her daily routine.

Peggy Sue is kind, observant, and full of mule charm. She thrives with calm handling and clear boundaries and is happiest in a low-stress environment. Because of her medical history, she is best suited as a companion or for very light, non-demanding activity as approved by a veterinarian and farrier.

Peggy Sue is looking for a forever home that understands metabolic equines and is willing to continue the management that keeps her comfortable and healthy. In return, she offers quiet companionship, personality, and plenty of long-eared love.
