🌸 Fiona | 2002 Kentucky Mountain Horse Mare 🌸

Some moms deserve a standing ovation… and Fiona is definitely one of them. ❤️

Fiona arrived at Wild at Heart as a pregnant mare from a feral herd in Kentucky, carrying not only her baby but a lifetime of uncertainty. Fast forward to today, and she’s blossoming into a trusting, gentle partner.

Her foal is nearly ready to spread their wings, and Fiona will be looking for a forever home beginning in September.

She’s now halter broke, leads beautifully, picks up all four feet, turns out quietly in the round pen, and is easy to catch—a huge accomplishment for a mare who once had every reason to be wary of people.

Fiona is proof that patience, kindness, and a little understanding can change a life. She’s looking for someone who will continue building on the trust she’s worked so hard to give.

If you’ve been searching for a mare with a remarkable story and an even bigger heart, Fiona just might be your perfect match. Could you be the happy ending she’s been waiting for? 🐴💕
