Adoption Overview $800

JELLY BEAN

JELLY BEAN was a star at our Fun Show in October. She accepted a ballerina costume like a seasoned pro and did in-hand obstacles like a champ. Thanks to volunteer Jeannie for making her costume and for taking her into several classes.

Jeannie had this to say:
"I am so proud of this pretty little ballerina. As a recent rescue intake we didn’t know a ton about her but decided to give her a chance to show this weekend. Day one is in the books and she worked her butt off on the in hand classes. She handled the entire costume class like a pro and took every obstacle in stride. So proud of her."

Jelly loads perfectly and is great for the vet and farrier. She is gaited.

She is in good health. Our vet suggested basic front shoes, which she has now. An adopter could discuss with their vet/farrier to determine if this is necessary moving forward depending on the terrain and job that Jelly would be doing in her adoptive home.

She can be forward/pushy when leading so she will need an adopter with equine handling experience. Jelly has been ridden in the past. An adopter who intends to ride her would need to be willing to provide refresher training or hire a trainer to do so. Her previous owner rode her before, but she hadn't been ridden in several years.

Jelly has a current Coggins and is current on vaccinations.
