Meet Pepper 🌶️

Pepper is a sweet miniature donkey who came to Layla Rose Ranch as part of a small herd of miniature donkeys, surrendered through an incredibly loving and selfless decision. Her previous owner adored her but, due to health challenges, could no longer provide the level of care the herd needed. Wanting the very best for them, she entrusted Pepper and her companions to us so they could continue to thrive.

Pepper has a gentle nature, soft curious eyes, and a calm presence that makes her easy to love. She is adjusting well to life at the ranch and is benefiting from consistent care, proper nutrition, and the comfort of donkey companionship.

Because Pepper has always lived with other miniature donkeys, her ideal home will include another miniature donkey. Donkeys are highly social animals and do best with a companion of their own kind. If you don’t currently have one, we strongly encourage considering adopting two so Pepper can continue to feel secure, confident, and emotionally fulfilled.

Pepper would thrive with adopters who understand the needs of miniature donkeys and value routine, companionship, and patient care. In return, she offers quiet affection, charm, and a steady, comforting presence.
