Meet Rose – A Brave Soul Blossoming with Potential!

Rose is a 14-year-old Quarter Horse mare with a kind heart and a strong spirit. When she first arrived at the rescue, she was quite reactive and unsure about being lunged or tacked up. It was clear she hadn’t been given the patient, gentle guidance she deserved.

With time and trust, Rose has made incredible progress. She now lunges beautifully and responds well to verbal cues. We’re currently working on desensitizing her to the saddle, and she’s showing us just how willing and resilient she can be.

Rose would thrive in a quiet, experienced home with someone who understands the value of going slow and building trust. With continued training and consistency, this lovely mare has the potential to become a loyal partner for groundwork, light riding, or just companionship.
