Adoption Overview $100

Harbor Bound "Sydney"

14 year old thoroughbred gelding bred in KY
Rockport Harbor (Unbridled's Song) out of Sequoia Queen by Forestry

17 hands. He last raced on 10/15/16. He has a history of knee chips that were removed. He does have kissing spine. He also has an allergy to steroids.

Sydney has had a long career and is ready for a nice pasture only retirement. He makes a wonderful friend to working horses. He could also be used as a babysitter to youngsters. Sydney has seen and done it all and is a relaxed horse to be around. He would make an excellent non-riding therapy horse as well. Possible in hand agility. He is a great traveler and gets along well with geldings in the field. He settles in quickly to new environments and is a pleasure to work with.

Sydney is quiet in his stall and settles in quickly to graze. He is respectful when being groomed and walks politely on a lead rope. He does not seem to have any vices.

Sydney is a lovely boy, deserving of an equally lovely retirement home.

Show Sanctioned Open Beginner Novice at Majestic Oaks January 2021. Scored 33 in dressage. No time penalties in either jump division, no cross-country penalties. 8 points in stadium jumping.
