Ubiquitous

• Leading and Ground Manners - Level 1 -Obie walks quietly in and out of the barn with a regular halter and lead. 
• Grooming and Tacking - Level 1 - Obie stands quietly in the crossties to be groomed and tacked. While grooming and bathing are not his favorite things (he prefers to be muddy over clean and loves his friends in the pasture), he does tolerate it and his a respectful gentleman about it.
• Horse Care - Level 1 -Obie wears regular shoes on his front feet and is barefoot to behind. He eats an appropriate amount of grain for a guy his size, and he enjoys hay and peppermints!
• Riding - Level 1 - Obie is a very smart, willing horse under saddle and is always ready to learn new things! Obie is suitable for an intermediate rider working with a trainer. He has been started over fences and is currently jumping around small courses. He has a lead change when asked, but is well on his way to having an auto-change. Obie is athletic and honest over fences. Obie prefers arena work over hacking outside and trail rides aren't his favorite thing.
• General Demeanor - Level 1 - Obie is a big guy who loves his food and his friends! He plays well with others but needs friends who appreciate his playfulness. He is always looking for treats and snacks, but is a no-nonsense guy undersaddle. Obie doesn't like to be apart from his friends, so a situation that would leave him alone in a field frequently would not be ideal.
• Physical Capability - Level 2 - Obie is best suited for a low-impact career like lower level jumping/eventing, and dressage. As always, veterinary records are available to interested and approved adopters.
