Booyakasha

Booyakasha is a handsome Florida-bred gelding whose name and birthplace might lead you to believe he belongs on a longboard on South Beach, instead of the racetrack. After a brief racing career that came to a close when a non-surgical chip was found in his RF fetlock, we think he just may enjoy a "hang loose" lifestyle after all. (As always, all vet records are available to approved adopters.) While we don't have sandy beaches at our PA facility, “Booya” doesn't complain. He makes the best of the situation- always quick to help his friends in turnout make their own "mud beach" to play in (he's a great pasture buddy). For a guy that enjoys getting dirty, he sure enjoys bath time too! Warm sudsy baths are one of his favorite activities, and he loves to spend his quality pampering time with the younger riders at the barn (only under direct supervision, of course!). Under saddle, Booyakasha is a quiet ride, but can be a bit nervous in new situations. He would appreciate a rider who can help him continue to gain his confidence and “chill.” While we don't know exactly what Booya's riding future may hold, we think he might be up for some light jumping in the future (with proper conditioning, etc.). Booyakasha came to New Vocations via the Beyond the Wire Program. We're so grateful for their continued support!
