Meet Sweet River Baines!

This handsome 2014 gelding came to Horse and Hound Rescue Foundation after an incredible career as a true track warhorse, boasting 15 wins and over $380,000 in earnings. Don't let his impressive pedigree and stakes-winning race record fool you, though - around the barn, Baines is a absolute sweetheart who has been fantastic with all of our volunteers! With a great brain, a kind heart, and the durability that carried him through 65+ starts, he is settling in beautifully and enjoying his well-deserved downtime. Once he has finished relaxing, we will evaluate him under saddle to see what second career suits him best.

If you're looking for a noble, sensible partner with class to burn, Sweet River Baines might be your perfect match! Fill out an adoption application on our website today to learn more about him.
