Satawa is a very special boy with a meaningful name. He was named after a deeply loved woman who helped support the founding of Horse and Hound Rescue Foundation, making him an extra special part of our rescue family. 

While Satawa never officially raced, he did have a work on the track, making him eligible for the Retired Racehorse Project. More importantly, he has already won everyone over with his incredibly sweet personality and has quickly become a barn favorite!

Right now, Satawa will be enjoying some well-deserved downtime before we evaluate him and discover what direction he would enjoy most with his future forever family. We can’t wait to learn more about this handsome boy as he settles in.
