Adoption Overview $1,500

TROOPER

Trooper is a tall, dark and handsome registered TWH gelding. Very nice breeding, and a very good looking boy. (He is "Pusher" bred for those who know TWH breeding).

Trooper is trained for riding and has been trail ridden and shown. He is easy to load and gentle to handle. Trooper comes with some emotional baggage. Those who know his history firsthand say that he was hit in the face and treated cruelly by some of the handlers he has known. Incredibly despite how humans have betrayed him, Trooper is very kind and grateful to be in the company of a good calm leader.

He is ready to move when you get on him. It is clear that he has learned over time that when someone gets in the saddle, that means it is time to get going.

His only vice that we have found - he is sometimes difficult to catch when loose. If turned out, we highly suggest a break away halter and patience.

Trooper will need an adopter with horse experience and a gentle/kind way about them.
