Here is a description from Joey's assgined student:

This good-looking gentleman is Joey, offered by Harmony Equine in partnership with
Colorado State University and the ASPCA. This boy is looking for his forever home, where he
can continue his training with a confident partner. Joey can walk, trot in-hand, pick up all four
feet, stands well for grooming, and being tacked. Can do hindquarter and forequarter pivots, with
a start to understanding side passing. He can lunge both ways, walk, trot, and canter. Has worn a
saddle and been ridden at the walk. He has also had a lot of work with desensitization but would
benefit from a more experienced hand to guide him into further training and keep him focused on
the task at hand. One of Joey’s biggest needs for improvement is being caught; he tends to
anticipate the catching when placed in a larger area but does well if moved to a smaller catch
pen. He enjoys TLC, cookies, and grooming, which has helped him grow his bond with our
students. He is, overall, a great project and could go in many different directions
