Adoption Overview $1,200

Stanley

Stanley is a cute and very personable grade Kentucky Mountain Horse gelding who came to us as an owner surrender. He was broke to ride and ridden regularly when his previous owners purchased him, but had been sitting for some time. Because it's been a while since he was ridden, he is a little bit rusty but was very agreeable for a ride around the farm. He just needs a rider confident enough to keep him going in the right direction, he is prone to changing direction when he sees something interesting or he may ask if its okay to stop at the roundpen or arena gate and does fine with a person who can guide him. He is gaited.

Stanley doesn't have any known health issues and is up to date on farrier care, dental, deworming, vaccinations, Coggin's, and also microchipped. He would probably make a wonderful trail horse for someone and he has lots of eye appeal with all his "chrome". He's easy to catch anywhere, leads great, ties, stands for tacking, good for the farrier and vet. If interested in taking this fine fellow home, please submit an adoption application today!
