Adoption Overview $500

Duke

Duke is a very sweet, personable, healthy, Saddlebred gelding available for adoption. Duke had an injury in training as a young horse and injured his hip, so he is no longer suitable for adoption as a riding horse. He was adopted but his owner couldn't keep him anymore, so he was returned to KHS for a second chance at a home. Duke is a good friend to other horses and would make a great companion for a lonely horse. He is good for the farrier, easy to catch anywhere, and polite to handle. He can get a bit anxious if separated out of sight from his friends but is otherwise a model citizen. Let us know today if Duke sounds like the perfect fella for you! See https://www.kyhumane.org/adopt/adoptable-horses for other KHS adoptable horses or for a link to our adoption application.
