Big Guy

Big Guy was signed over in the field to our Humane Officers in April 2024 after his previous owner decided it was in his best interest. The 30-year-old American Quarter Horse has a great disposition and is a very sweet boy with his human friends. According to his previous owners, he is a retired rodeo horse and is broke to ride. 

A handsome, chatty boy, Big Guy is great in the trailer and in the wash rack. Hw will occasionally talk to other horses and will stop if corrected. Like his name implies, Big Guy is a hungry boy and will need to have his pelleted food and senior soaked.

Big Guy stands at 15 hands and is located in Ojai, CA.

Though he was recently gelded, Big Guy is looking for an owner with stallion experience and will be adopted into a stallion-approved home only. Please submit an adoption inquiry if you are interested in giving Big Guy the home he deserves!
