Abby's Honor

4 year old thoroughbred filly bred in KY
Cairo Prince (Pioneerof The Nile) out of Mazel Tov by Mazel Trick

16 hands. She never raced and only had 60 days under saddle. She was not meant to be a racehorse as speed is not her forte. She was very well behaved on her first ride under tack with us with over a year off and is a lovely mover. She has no injuries however; she cannot ever be bred due to a foaling injury in her past.

Abby is a laid back and loving mare. Very sweet and very kind. She loves her grooming sessions, but she is a bit shy of the show sheen spray. She seems intelligent and is an easy keeper. She doesn’t seem spooky or reactive and seems very classy and brave. Abby is very respectful of her handlers and walks politely on a lead rope. When she arrived to our farm, she settled in quickly and was turned out her first night with us. She made fast friends with 2 other mares and there was no drama at all. She enjoys being outside but does fine in the stall as well where she remains quiet and watches all the people working. She has quickly become the barn favorite! A truly great little filly.

She should be suitable for any discipline. She may not work well for those who want to focus on upper level shows. Her foaling injury left her with unladylike sounds as she trots and canters.
