24 Glorified (Arthur)

Yearling thoroughbred colt bred in KY
Tacitus (Tapit) out of Glorified by Honour and Glory

Growing every day! He cannot be started under saddle until he is at least 2.5 years old, December 2026. He has a misalignment in his right hock. We do have x-rays. He is sound and this should not cause any soundness issues as long as he is allowed to develop before being started under saddle. He should be suitable for flatwork, dressage and pleasure riding. As he ages, if he is in a more athletic career, he could develop arthritis in the joint.

Arthur is a sensitive and intelligent yearling who encounters new things bravely given a moment to think. He enjoys routine and also loves new places and games. He walks well on a lead rope and is respectful of his surroundings and people. He loves being groomed with a soft curry, does not mind spray bottles, stands quietly to have his blanket out on, and is easy to halter. He especially loves having his belly rubbed. He gets his feet picked daily.

Arthur is still learning to be comfortable with the hose and bathing. He loves having his face pet and cleaned, but is hesitant about his ears being handled. Works in progress!

Arthur enjoys pasture time with two other yearling geldings - he is the leader and enjoys keeping his friends in line. Arthur also turns out well in a round pen by himself and is well behaved in his stall. We haven’t noticed any vices.

Arthur is available now for adoption to a qualified candidate who has experience with yearlings and who can commit to waiting until he is at least 2.5 years of age before starting him under saddle.
