Breed: Morgan cross
Pico is 12-15. She is about 14.2hh. She is suspected to be a Morgan cross. She requires an experienced rider/handler. She needs someone who enjoys ground work. She is good for the farrier, loads, quiet to groom, not spooky. That said, she is reactive undersaddle and can be difficult to catch in a field. She fits in a herd well. She takes time to develop confidence and respect of a new rider/handler, so her right person will need to have understanding of previously feral or unhandled horses, and they will need to take an approach that allows her to develop a bond with them over time. She has a lot of try, and she has no limitations / no previous injuries, so the sky is the limit with the right rider. She doesn’t currently feel comfortable in the arena, but she can get there with time and continued training. She is a pretty mare, nice mover and should be able to eventually be someone’s hunter/jumper partner or an endurance prospect.
