Jimmy Lloyd

The say that it is the toughest horses that make us better. Are you the type of horse lover who thrives on that feeling of having a special connection, a breakthrough or a "secret language" with your horse? Do you love a challenge and enjoy solving the riddle of how to communicate with a horse? Well, if you said yes...please meet Jimmy Lloyd. 

Jimmy is different than your average horse. He is not mean. He's not necessarily even scared. He just demands a close and trusted connection with humans before he'll trust them to be the leader. This home absolutely does exist and we know there are adopters out there who will appreciate and celebrate that feeling of accomplishment that comes from befriending this special little gelding. 

We don't believe Jimmy is ever going to be ideal for riding. He's just not that type of guy. But he has many other tremendous qualities. 

Jimmy is an excellent pasture pal for other horses. He doesn't mind being groomed and is fine to do some basic groundwork. He's always open to learning new things as long as you have the knowledge to teach him. 

If you love those special "complicated" types of horses and want to develop your own horsemanship...Jimmy needs YOU as much as YOU need him. We hope that you will give him a chance.
