Adoption Overview $350

Moonshadow

This handsome bay gelding is Moonshadow. He originally came to Longmeadow as a stray and was adopted out for six years before being returned to the ranch at no fault of his own. Unfortunately, Moonshadow became unpredictable under saddle and we are not able to adoption him out as a riding horse. He is now available as a pasture pet only. He is very intelligent and would also do well with a person interested in groundwork training. He has a knack for learning new tricks and skills and has spent numerous hours with our groundwork team! Moonshadow gets along best with mares as pasture mates, as he prefers to be the head honcho.! When Moonshadow was returned to the ranch he was extremely overweight. He has lost most of the weight, but we suggest restricting him to a dry lot or equipping him with a grazing muzzle. He is an extremely easier keeper, and does not require much to keep the weight on!
