About Us
Founded in 1932, the Humane Society of Ventura County (HSVC) is nestled in the rolling hills of the picturesque Ojai Valley of southern California. Our 4.4-acre property provides a safe refuge for the homeless, neglected, and abused animals of Ventura County. We provide our shelter animals with medical treatment, proper nutrition, exercise, rehabilitation, and more during their stay at the HSVC.
